The future of the world is at stake, because of an evil Artificial Intelligence that wants to take over the entire world and our only hope is a little robot that looks like a Roomba vacuum. Face endless enemies and don’t forget to collect the dots that they drop, as you’ll need them to clear every stage you play.

While Underpowered is a top down shooter where the main goal is to defeat your enemies with quick mechanic outplays; you’ll also need to make a strategy to fight them, though, because simple brute force won’t do the trick. If you´re feeling like going on a destroying evil robots spree, you should definitely go and download this game created for the Brackeys Jam 2020. 2.0

Although the mechanics are really simple, we guarantee a fun time using the top down camera, the W,A,S,D keys to move and the left click to attack. Trial and error is needed since you have to study the whole stage before actually managing to check every part of the maze you are. Be sure not to miss any spot, as you’ll need to defeat every villain in order to advance.

Underpowered simplicity is complemented with a good performance, as it shows us decent graphics, good music and a complete experience without glitches or any other obstacle product of sloppy development.

Although the game doesn’t really develop the rewind theme of the Jam, we enjoyed playing it. If you’re looking for a game to spend some time just shooting at stuff and defeating giant bosses on maze type levels, unwinder is the right choice for you. Just let yourself go with our little Roomba-like friend and have fun saving the world.
