Just One Boss

Just One Boss is a game that, at first sight, might not seem particularly revolutionary as it’s an indie game that revolves solely around a single boss fight but, as it turns out, there’s a lot more depth to the game than meets the eye. The single boss fight in Just One Boss is no doubt one of the most in-depth and intricately crafted fights we’ve come across in an indie game and, overall, it’s definitely more than enough to earn this game a recommendation from us.
The objective in Just One Boss is to defeat the boss you’re faced with by collecting all the glowing tiles on the battlefield. This will be no easy task, however, as the boss will constantly change strategies, weapons and approaches as it keeps trying to figure out new ways to take you down. You’ll need to be on your toes constantly to avoid damage and collect tiles and, while you might die a whole bunch before succeeding, finally defeating the boss is worth every single second of effort put in.
The graphics of Just One Boss aren’t particularly groundbreaking as the game features a retro style that isn’t too flashy. Nonetheless, though, Just One Boss is still nice to look at thanks to the sleek interface, smooth animations and the vibrant colors that breathe life into the visuals so, all said and done, Just One Boss is definitely one to keep on your radar.
